A nice brass Akan or Ashanti maternity figure from Ghana (no longer in my collection)
9" tall

I normally stay away from metal objects for some reason, but I really thought this little maternity figure was beautiful when I laid eyes on it.
The figure is in 2 pieces, the stool and then the figure itself. This is my latest addition to my small but growing collection of African maternity figures.
